Business Tax

• You may apply for your business license Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Gallatin location, Room 105, or by mail.
• The application fee is $15.00 for the original business license.
• When paying by card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, or Discover) there is a 2.25% +$0.25 additional charge.
• A business located within the city limits must also obtain a city license.

License Renewal

Standard License

• Your standard business license is automatically renewed when the business’s annual business tax report is filed and paid with the TN Dept of Revenue.
• The license should be available to print from your TNTAP account.

Minimal Activity License

• Minimal Activity License for businesses grossing $100,000 or less renews annually by paying $15.00 to the clerk’s office.
