A resolution was unanimously approved to appropriate $3,008,550.19 from the Self Insurance Casualty Restricted Fund Balance to cover medical billing for an extensive hospital stay under workers' compensation.

Everest Drive and Robert Lee Drive in Creekview Estates Subdivision Section 4, Phase 2 were accepted and added to the official road list.
- Grant Application Approval
A resolution was approved allowing the Planning and Engineering Department to apply for the HUD Automated Permitting Systems Demonstration Grant.
- Property Tax Rate Set for 2026-2027 Fiscal Year
The Commission unanimously approved a property tax rate of $1.4210 per $100 of taxable property to fund general, debt service, highway, school, and capital project funds.
- County General Budget Approved with Amendments
The 2026-2027 General Fund budget of $136,734,021 was approved with amendments including carryover funding for the Brown House and ADA playgrounds, reduction in commissioner pay, and increased funding for volunteer fire departments.
- School Budget Amendment and Rejection
An amendment to remove approximately $5.7 million above maintenance-of-effort funding failed, and the full school budget for 2026-2027 also failed to pass.
- Appropriations to Non-Profit Charitable Organizations

Appropriations were made for Portland Airport grant match, congressional redistricting costs, a vehicle purchase for the Drug Task Force, and adjustments in the Sheriff's Office budget. Multi-year leasing agreements for school copiers and a data processing service contract were also approved.

A resolution to redeem $9,245,000 of the county’s General Obligation School and Public Improvement Bonds, Series 2015, was deferred to the Budget Committee for one month.
